The idea has been so appreciated that the prestigious Orthopaedic Rizzoli requested to develop a new version of starched gauze tissue, to be used for plastering (ingessatura). Zabban shows its innovative capacity once more, becoming the first Italian company to create these bandages. The products portfolio has been enriched over time with several other medical accessories, starting therefore a constant growth.
Actually the company, which has changed its name into Farmac-Zabban S.p.A., operates in the field of the production of articles for medication and surgical and health dispositive, which are distributed to hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies and medical centres for a total of approximately 10.000 customers and 180 employees and sales personnel. Know how is added to a politics of investments in plants, facilities, technology, human resources and computer-related services.
The headquarter is a 41.000 m2 (square meters) factory in Calderara di Reno, equipped with high-profile technologic equipment aiming to the highest efficiency and security standards. The whole productive cycle of the medication instruments is performed and controlled within the company in order to satisfy the qualitative features which keep Farmac – Zabban as the leader company in the National market.
